'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II' and 'Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides' must compete with 'Transformers 3', 'Bridesmaids' and 'The Help' for the coveted Favorite Movie award.

AceShowbiz - The 2012 People's Choice Awards has announced its nominations. For movie field, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II" becomes the most-nominated title of all. The wizard boy film series grabs nine noms, including the most coveted Favorite Movie. Its stars, Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint and Tom Felton, are all racing to win Favorite Movie Star Under 25 kudo, leaving only one spot in the category for Chloe Moretz.

Meanwhile, "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" is another movie that bags multiple nominations. The Johnny Depp-starring adventure film will also go face-to-face with "Deathly Hallows II" in Favorite Movie and Favorite Ensemble Movie Cast categories. Its leading actor, Depp, is also vying for Favorite Movie Actor, up against Radcliffe, Robert Pattinson and Ryan Reynolds.

"Transformers: Dark of the Moon" and "Bridesmaids" are among the other movies which grab multiple noms, including the Favorite Movie. The autobot war film is also up for Favorite Movie Icon, while its leading man Shia LaBeouf must compete with Taylor Lautner and Hugh Jackman for Favorite Action Movie Star award. As for "Bridesmaids", the romantic comedy film is up for Favorite Comedy Movie and Ensemble Movie Cast.

Other nominees in movie categories include "The Help", "X-Men: First Class", "The Hangover Part II", as well as "Water for Elephants". Meanwhile, "Glee" is dominating the nomination list in TV category, and Lady GaGa, Katy Perry as well as Beyonce Knowles score multiple nominations in music category.

Winners of the 2012 People's Choice Awards are determined by the number of votes which is submitted by public on the PCAs' official website from November 8 until December 6. The awards will be presented in a ceremony that will be held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on January 11, 2012. The show will be broadcast live on the CBS at 9:00 P.M. ET.
