Teen Choice Awards 2013: Justin Bieber and Lady GaGa Nominated for Choice Twitter Personality


Justin Bieber, Lady GaGa and Katy Perry are nominated for Choice Twitter Personality, while Ellen DeGeneres and Jimmy Fallon are featured in Choice Comedian alongside Melissa McCarthy.

The second wave of 2013 Teen Choice Awards nominations has announced names that are included in Choice Twitter Personality, Comedian, Webstar and Social Network categories. In addition to nominations in music category, Justin Bieber is also featured in Choice Twitter Personality.

Bieber, who recently surpassed Lady GaGa in terms of number of follower, meets the second most-followed person in this category. Other popstars who are included in Choice Twitter Personality are Katy Perry and Rihanna. President Obama, who uses Twitter to announce official activities and campaigns, is nominated as well.

Talk show hosts Ellen DeGeneres and Jimmy Fallon make it into Choice Comedian category. "Pitch Perfect" actress Rebel Wilson joins funnyman Daniel Tosh as other nominees of Choice Comedian. Melissa McCarthy, whose comedy movie with Sandra Bullock "The Heat" earned $40 million, is also nominated for the title.

Stars who gained popularity on the web are nominated in Choice Webstar. "Hey L.A." singer Ryan Beatty and singing group Cimorelly are included in this category. The other nominees are musician and entertainer Dave Days, YouTube sensation Kid President and The Screaming Sheep. Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr, Twitter and Vine are nominated in Choice Social Network.

The annual event will be broadcast by FOX on August 11. Fans can vote for their favorite star until August 10 on the official site.
