The 'Glee' actor returns to Los Angeles to be with his girlfriend and co-star after a month in rehab to battle substance abuse issues.
Cory Monteith reportedly completed rehab and was spotted reuniting with girlfriend Lea Michele at LAX on Friday morning, April 26. An eyewitness told E! News that the 30-year-old actor, who sported a new shorter haircut, and Michele looked "very happy" as they were "smiling the entire time."
A source said that Monteith flew from Antigua (apparently that's where his rehab facility was) to New York before he made his way to Los Angeles to meet up with Michele. The couple who stars on "Glee" might be heading somewhere else for a vacation since Michele was seen with her passport at the airport.
Monteith took to Twitter to thank his fans for their support while he was in rehab. He wrote, "Sending out big love to everyone. Thank you for the continued support! It means the world to me! :)." Michele added, "Today is a great day:) Love you all! Xo."
Last month, Monteith voluntarily checked himself into a rehab for substance abuse. He received a lot of support from fans and friends, including Michele. Of her boyfriend's decision to treat his substance addiction, Michele said at that time, "I love and support Cory and will stand by him through this. I am grateful and proud he made this decision."
