Rumor has it, the former Marvel Comics President will make an appearance as a 'beauty pageant judge' in the third armored hero movie.

AceShowbiz - Stan Lee will once again make a cameo in a Marvel movie. This time around, he is reportedly set to appear briefly in Shane Black's "Iron Man 3", which is currently in the production stage. Addressing the report, Latino Review has revealed what minor role the Marvel boss will tackle in the third armored hero movie.

According to the site, Lee will appear as "a beauty pageant judge." It was said that the 89-year-old comic mogul has shot his cameo scenes on Tuesday, July 10. Should the report be true, this would confirm previous rumor suggesting that "Iron Man 3" would feature a beauty pageant at some points of its story.

Major plot details of "Iron Man 3" are still kept secret, but the story reportedly will be loosely based on Warren Ellis' six-issue "Extremis" comic book series, which presents a new origin story that focuses on nanotechnology. Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow and Don Cheadle will return as Tony Stark, Pepper Potts and Rhodey respectively.

Also supported by Ben Kingsley, Guy Pearce and Jon Favreau, the third installment of the "Iron Man" film franchise will make its way out onto cinemas across the U.S. on May 3, 2013.

As for Stan "The Man" Lee, the former president and chairman of Marvel Comics has recently made a cameo in "The Amazing Spider-Man". He played a school janitor who enjoyed music on his headphones in a library without realizing that there were Spidey and the Lizard battling it out right behind him.

Additionally, he was supposed to appear in a full scene in "The Avengers", playing a man who sat next to sad-looking Steve Rogers at a cafeteria. However, the scene was cut down and he only showed up briefly in a montage at the end of the mega-blockbuster movie.
