AceShowbiz - Dean Sheremet has on Thursday, December 17 filed for divorce from his estranged wife, singer-actress LeAnn Rimes. The legal documents filed in Los Angeles Superior Court listed irreconcilable differences as the reason for Sheremet to end his marriage to Rimes. He is seeking spousal support from her and wants her to pay the attorney fees, according to the papers.
Dean Sheremet, 29, and LeAnn Rimes, 27, tied the knot in February 2002. Rumors of them dealing with marital woes emerged in March after she was spotted making out with Eddie Cibrian, her co-star in movie "Northern Lights".
Both Rimes and Cibrian persistently denied they had an affair before then making public their romance back in August. The following month, Rimes confirmed through a post on her official site that she and Cibrian "have agreed to move forward with dissolving" their marriage. No paperwork had been filed though.
Eddie Cibrian himself already filed for legal separation from his wife, Brandi Glanville who mothers his two sons Mason Edward and Jake Austin, in August. They got married in May 2001.
