'Prince of Persia' and 'Alice in Wonderland' Among D23's Line-Up

Walt Disney Studios has announced the full schedule and line-up for this year's D23 Expo which will run from September 10 to 13.

AceShowbiz - Exclusive sneak peeks at "Prince of Persia: Sands of Time" and "Alice in Wonderland" will be shown during the D23 Expo. On Wednesday, August 19, the Walt Disney Studios has revealed the matter through a press release for the upcoming event to be held in Anaheim, California from September 10 to 13.

In addition to those two highly anticipated movies, the mouse house will also unveil sneak peeks at its other upcoming movies that include "A Christmas Carol (2009)", "The Sorcerer's Apprentice", "Tron: Legacy" and "Old Dogs". Disney Studios Chairman Dick Cook will present all those previews at The Anaheim Convention Center.

Additionally, Disney unraveled that John Lasseter, the Chief Creative Officer of Disney/Pixar will discuss and show materials from such upcoming Walt Disney and Pixar Animation Studios' motion pictures as "The Princess and the Frog", "Rapunzel" and "Toy Story 3". The new Disney Digital 3-D versions of "Toy Story" and "Toy Story 2" will be among the U.S. premieres held at the expo.

"Prince of Persia: Sands of Time", in the meantime, is directed by "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" helmer Mike Newell, and starred by Jake Gyllenhaal and Gemma Arterton. The action adventure is set to be released in the U.S. May 28, 2010. Meanwhile, "Alice in Wonderland" is a Tim Burton project that is expected to come out in Disney Digital 3-D on March 5, 2010.
