First Look at Mickey Rourke in 'The Expendables'
Movie

The newest shot released from the Lionsgate's action adventure exposes the star of 'The Wrestler' etching Sylvester Stallone's back with a tattoo.

AceShowbiz - Mickey Rourke will make an appearance in "The Expendables", and how he portrays his arms dealer and part-time tattooist character in the forthcoming action adventure has been shared for the first time through a brand new still. Empire Online has got a hold of the picture, exposing Rourke's Tool inking the skull and raven tattoo on the back of Sylvester Stallone's Barney Ross.

Beside this photo from Empire, several other stills from the film have been found via Ethelmae's Blog. Each of the photos features an individual character from the film in action. One sees Jason Statham's Lee Christmas looking out of what seems to be a chopper's window, another one captures Jet Li's Bao lifting up his gun inside a car, and the last one displays Eric Roberts' Monroe taking a girl as a hostage.

"The Expendables" centers its story on a team of mercenaries who heads to South America on a mission to overthrow a dictator, who has caused devastation in the last 20 years. Steve Austin, Dolph Lundgren, Brittany Murphy, Charisma Carpenter and Randy Couture are among the star-studded cast ensemble.

Directed and penned by its star Sylvester Stallone, the film has been shot in locations, such as Brazil, New Orleans and Los Angeles starting on March 28. April 23, 2010 has been set to be the theatrical release date of this Lionsgate movie in North America.
