Ivanka Trump, the daughter of business mogul Donald Trump, is engaged to her boyfriend Jared Kushner. US Weekly which runs an exclusive story of the news claims to have obtained a confirmation from the pair's representative who said engagement took place on Wednesday night, July 15.
Wasting no time to let public know about her engagement, Ivanka posted a short message on her Twitter early Thursday, July 16. "I got engaged last night...truly the happiest day of my life!!!" she tweeted.
Father Donald, meanwhile, was quoted as stating, "I'm very happy about it. They make a magnificent couple." And while there has been no further detail about the engagement, a source informed US Weekly, "The ring is stunning!"
Ivanka Trump is the executive vice president of development and acquisitions at the Trump Organization. She has been dating Jared Kushner, who works as the publisher of the New York Observer, since 2007. The pair reportedly briefly split, but reconciled back in July 2008.
As of the press time, there has been no word whether or not the newly engaged couple has already worked on wedding plans.
