Timberlake & Diaz's Settlement with Photographers

Photographers Saul Lazo and Jose Gonzalez have both alleged pop singer Justin Timberlake and his girlfriend Cameron Diaz to have taunted and threatened them before the actress finally beat Lazo and took his camera. Though later Diaz handed the camera over to police, the incident was unfortunately caught on camera by another snapper who later sold his pictures to American magazine Us Weekly.

According to her confession to police, Diaz said that she took the camera merely because she wanted to know who the snapper was. In contrast, she and Justin alleged both photographers harassed and jumped out of bushes on them in an attempt to provoke an angry reaction. On their side, Saul and Jose blasted the couple allegations, insisting they stood more than 10 feet away from them on public property the whole time.

Jolie Takes Part in Live 8 Concerts

What a lavish person Angelina Jolie is that during her hectic schedules she eagerly sacrifices her time just to join the Live 8 concerts. Evenmore, what thrilled the concert organizer Sir Bob Geldof most is that the actress also agrees to campaign on his behalf to eliminate Third World debt and rewrite trade laws.

Talking about her joining up on the concert, an insider says "Angelina won't just be putting her name to Live 8, she's also agreed to sacrifice a considerable amount of time for us, which is pretty much unheard of for a Hollywood star. She's been talking for some time about taking a break from films and we're delighted to be the ones to benefit from it."

Lopez Received a $1 Million Engagement Ring

Sunday, Latin superstar Jennifer Lopez celebrated her first ever one-year marriage with husband Marc Anthony. To celebrate the momentous event, Anthony has given the beauty a $1 million engagement ring.

A family friend says, "It sounds a little odd, but Marc and Jennifer were never really engaged - they just got married. So, to mark their first anniversary, Marc officially proposed, this time presenting Jennifer with an engagement ring from exclusive jeweler-to-the-stars Neil Lane. It's huge, and it sparkles beyond belief. Jennifer was very excited to get it."

"Naughty Girl" Beyonce Owes Wilhelmina Models

Just like her song title, Beyonce Knowles maybe is a "Naughty Girl." It's not surprising then that a New York Supreme Court judge ruled her to owe Wilhelmina Models a hefty settlement stemming from her 2001 performance as a L'Oreal spokeswoman.

For their side, the agency claimed that Beyonce's contract with the related company came about as a result of the singer teaming up with Wilhelmina agents. However, Beyonce allegedly failed to grant the agency's efforts and neglected to pay the commission and service fee she owed.

Gorillaz Leader Holds on Movie Hopes

The movie idea for British band Gorillaz got nixed because of creative differences with DreamWorks, yet the band frontman Damon Albarn insists to still considering a movie project for his side band, though it will, indeed, take time. Further he explains that Gorillaz maybe wasn't ready to make a film, but the idea is still in the works. Bringing the idea into life, Albarn claims it will be turned into the concept for the new Gorillaz album, "Demon Days."



Hatcher Picks Glamour's Women of the Year Awards

Teri Hatcher is no longer a "Desperate Housewive" 'coz she's achieved British magazine Glamour's Women of the Year Awards for her talent to combine motherhood and a career, while looking glamorous at the same time. In addition, she is also named US TV Actress of the Year for her portrayal as single mother Susan Mayer in the hit show.

Accepting both awards in London on June 7, the actress commented "I flew in today from California. I'm red-eyed, tired and drunk...I hope I inspire women to believe just how much can change in just one year."

Will Paris Go for "Big Brother"?

Socialite Paris Hilton has not yet agree to star in the German version of cult reality TV show "Big Brother." However, the show production company Endemol has already offered her more than $1.8 million to star in.

If later on Paris agrees to the deal, she will surely team up with a bizarre band of ex-strippers, beauty queens, a married couple and a virgin, who are all living under 24 hour scrutiny on the set.

Culkin Pleads Guilty to Drug Possession

Wednesday, former child actor Macaulay Culkin was pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges of possession of medication without a prescription and marijuana. The charges stemming from Culkin's September 17 detention after Oklahoma City police stopped his car and later found over a half-ounce of marijuana and several tablets of Xanax, a prescription medication used to treat depression and panic disorders.

Entered the appeal during a brief hearing, Culkin was given a 1-year adjourned sentence on each of the charges and assessed a total of $940 in fees.

"Material Girls" Releases "Lotsa de Casha"

Madonna's first four children books have obviously gained success and here comes the fifth, which is also the final. Titled "Lotsa de Casha," the book is written for readers ages 6 and up. Inside it tells the story of the richest man in the world, who loses everything but gains a friend.

Over all, the book tells the message that money, somehow, can't buy happiness. Founder and chief executive officer of Callaway Arts & Entertainment, Nicholas Callaway, announced the book's publication Tuesday.

Fashion Designer?! NO!

Mandy Moore maybe a singer and an actress, yet she won't label herself a fashion designer despite the fact that she also designs T-shirts under the label Mblem. Attending Council of Fashion Designers of America Fashion Awards (CFDA) held Monday night at the New York Public Library, Moore insists "I'm just here as a fan of fashion. I don't have it in me to do this."

Also attending the event among others Sarah Michelle Gellar, Nicole Richie, Claire Danes, who came along with designer Behnaz Sarafpour, Iman and her husband David Bowie, and also Heidi Klum and Seal.

Crowe Got Struck Over Telephone

How can a telephone get an actor into a trouble? When the actor couldn't get a line then it would. This happens to Australian actor Russell Crowe who was arrested for assault Monday morning in New York after allegedly throwing a telephone at a hotel employee.

Crowe was so mad because he couldn't get a line to wife Danielle Spencer in Australia and the hotel's management, Mercer Hotel in Mahattan's posh SoHo district, gave no response at all. Shortly after he reached the front desk and took his frustration out by allegedly hurling said phone at the clerk, "hitting him in the face and causing a laceration and substantial pain."

Special Present at Wonder's 55th Birthday

May 13 is Stevie Wonder 55th birthday. At the same day, he doubled his happiness as his fashion designer wife Kai Millard Morris gave birth to Mandla Kadjaly Carl Stevland Morris, his seventh child and their first. The baby boy weighed 7-pounds, 8-ounces and was 20-inches long.

No other details have been revealed, but the meaning of the baby's name. Commenting on this, the singer publicist Howard Bragman explained, Mandla means Powerful/Defiant in Zulu and Kadjaly is Swahili for Born From God.

Young Osbourne Back in Rehab

The Osbourne's daughter has revisited a drug-treatment center in Pasadena, California, nothing but because "She's slipped into some of her old problems and is not doing so well. Everyone is supporting her," an unnamed source explained.

Calls to Kelly publicist were not immediately returned, but a family representative said "Kelly is in a facility dealing with some personal issues. She'll be back in a few weeks." This time she's in another celeb-friendly facility, Las Encinas, the same place where her brother Jack got special treatment for his addictions to OxyContin, marijuana and alcohol.

Monroe's Items Sold for $150,000

The 1962 red rose painting made by legend Marilyn Monroe, which she actually dedicated to President Kennedy, has been sold to collector David Davis, who runs an art gallery in Rhode Island, for $78,000. Along with the painting, Monroe's personal phonebook, containing hundreds of typed numbers and addresses for every person she knows, from infamous to the most celebrated ones, has gone to Golden Palace.com for $90,000. So, Monroe's items have all been sold for more than $150,000.



Twins Go Separate Ways

The still growing-up twin celebs, Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate, go their separate ways, starting to gear up their solo career. As for her first time ever, Ashley Olsen starts her own career without the companion of her twin sister, posing for the July issue cover of Harper's Bazaar.

Despite their go solo, still the twins become an interesting thing to talk about in an article inside the magazine, in which both are praised for their "dumpster dressing" and "bobo" look. Commenting on the article, Ashley says "We like wearing big, oversized things and it gets photographed. New York weather allows you to layer a lot.
