AceShowbiz - "The Masked Singer" returned with a new episode on Wednesday, October 2. The new episode introduced the Leopard, Black Widow, Panda and Flamingo with one of them getting unmasked at the end of the episode.
Kicking off the night was the face-off between the Black Widow and the Leopard. The former wowed judges Nicole Scherzinger, Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke with a rendition of Whitney Houston's "I Wanna Dance With Somebody." The judges guessed that she could be Amber Riley, Yvette Nicole Brown or Sherri Shepherd.
Meanwhile, the Leopard opted to hit the stage to perform "Somebody to Love" by Queen. Billy Porter, Robbie Williams and Jamie Foxx were among celebrities whose names were thrown as guesses from the judges. According to the audience vote, the Black Widow advanced to the next round.
Next up was the Flamingo who went against the Panda. Flamingo performed "Sucker" by Jonas Brothers, and the judges guessed that she might be a Destiny's Child member or Kandi Burruss. Following it up was Panda's performance of Kelly Clarkson's "Stronger" and the judges seemed to think that she was an athlete with them mentioning Venus Williams and Ronda Rousey. In the end, Flamingo bested Panda.
Later in the Smackdown round, the Leopard hit the stage to sing Aretha Franklin's "Respect". Hoping to win the round was Panda, who rapped T-Pain's "All I Do Is Win". It was later announced that the winner was the Leopard, meaning that the Panda had to reveal his identity.
For the final guess, Jenny said she might be Wanda Sykes. Ken believed she was Queen Latifah with Robin thinking she might be Loni Love. Meanwhile, Nicole guessed Venus Williams. However, none of them got it right because Panda was actually Laila Ali, fighter and daughter of iconic boxer Muhammad Ali.
