After the all-black outfits at the Golden Globes, stars step out in sparkling and more colorful dresses at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.

AceShowbiz - One of the biggest nights for Hollywood actors is currently underway as the 2018 Screen Actors Guild Awards is taking place at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. After turning the red carpet black in support of the Time's Up movement at the 75th annual Golden Globe Awards earlier this month, stars showed more glamorous styles at the Sunday, January 21 event.

Known for their perfect red carpet looks, Halle Berry, Nicole Kidman and Lupita Nyong'o this time stole the limelight with their sparkling dresses. Berry bared major cleavage in a bronze and black gown with a black lace overlay skirt and a plunging neckline. Her hair was pulled back and she wore nude lipstick.

Kidman looked classy in a long-sleeve metallic copper dress which was paired with matching-colored heels. Her hair was arranged in loose curls and she sported red lipstick and red nail polish. She posed with her husband Keith Urban, who sported a black suit, white shirt and a a black bow tie.

Nyong'o was dazzling in a grayish blue gown dress with a mesh overlay decorated with beautiful feathers. She wore some serious diamond jewelries to complete her look.

Also wearing glittering dresses were Olivia Munn, Connie Britton, Allison Williams, Guiliana Rancic and Allison Janney among others. Munn opted for a bolder look in a strapless silver and black number, Britton wore a pink sequin number, and Williams was oozed classic glamor in a Ralph & Russo gown with embellished bodice and fringed skirt.

Rancic, who hosted E! Live from the Red Carpet special, looked like a goddess in slightly-sheer black, white and gold striped gown with draped sleeves, while Janney chose a charcoal turtleneck-style dress.

Bringing more colors to the red carpet, Reese Witherspoon looked fresh in a green dress, while Mandy Moore and Susan Sarandon went blue. Kristen Bell was pretty in a hot pink dress. Also wearing pink, Kate Hudson posed on the red carpet with her mother Goldie Hawn, who wore a baby blue dress.

Wearing pink in softer tone, Margot Robbie was stunning in a Miu Miu pastel pink gown with feather details around the waist. Saoirse Ronan sported a long-sleeve dress with thigh-high slits, and Millie Bobby Brown opted for a simple pink short dress with a long cape.

Alison Brie turned heads in a crimson red gown with a lightning accent along her neckline. She came with her husband Dave Franco, who looked sharp in a navy blue suit. Brie Larson and Gina Rodriguez, meanwhile, brought more colors with their dresses.

Yara Shahidi, Taylor Schilling and Mary J. Blige were among those dressing in black, while Tracee Ellis Ross and Sadie Sink opted for white numbers. Dakota Fanning also softened it in a peach-colored gown with silver details.
