Favorite Film, Actor and Actress nominees revolve around 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens', 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' and the cast.

AceShowbiz - Stormtroopers, dinosaurs and superheroes are among kids' favorites this year. The nominees for 2016 Kids' Choice Awards in movie categories are ruled by such movies as "Star Wars: The Force Awakens", "Jurassic World", "Avengers: Age of Ultron" and "Ant-Man".
Nickelodeon announced on Tuesday, February 2 the films that are up for the favorite film prize at the 29th annual ceremony. "Cinderella", ''Daddy's Home", ''Pitch Perfect 2", and "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" are also vying for the title. Stars from the various films such as Robert Downey Jr., Chris Pratt, Jennifer Lawrence, Rebel Wilson and Will Ferrell are consequently up for Favorite Actor and Actress nods.
Animated movie and the voice talents are also getting recognized this year. Amy Poehler, Jim Parsons and Selena Gomez are among those nominated for Favorite Voice From an Animated Movie. "Home (2015)", "Inside Out (2015)", and "Hotel Transylvania 2" are competing against "Minions", "The Peanuts Movie" and "Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip".
Voting has begun on Tuesday, February 2 at Nick.com, Nick app on iPad, iPhone, Kindle and select Android devices as well as Nickelodeon's Twitter using #KCA as well as the hashtag of the favorite nominee.
The 22 categories also include TV, music, book and video game. "The Hunger Games" series is eying the Favorite Book prize against "Harry Potter" series and "The Maze Runner" series among others. This year's ceremony has also added favorite cooking show and music collaboration as categories.
The awards will be handed out on March 12 at Forum in Inglewood, California. Blake Shelton is hosting.
