AceShowbiz - Beyonce Knowles' performance at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards has been confirmed. Common, who's been officially added to the line-up for the upcoming event, told Us Weekly that the R&B diva would indeed participate in a tribute to "Selma", singing "Take My Hand Precious Lord" before he and John Legend play their Oscar-nominated "Glory" from the film's soundtrack.

"We do have an incredible introduction to our performance. A segue into our song 'Glory', as a tribute to 'Selma', being done by the great Beyonce," the rapper said. He went on praising the former Destiny's Child member, "That's one of the greatest talents you can have, helping us segue into it. To co-create a performance with someone like her. It's good."

Common also revealed what to expect from the "Selma" tribute in another interview with Rolling Stone. "It's the Grammys stage, so we're going to deliver some of the best performances we ever had," he explained. "Expect the spirit of what the movie is about, the spirit of what the movement is about, and the spirit of what 'Glory' is about."

The 2015 Annual Grammy Awards is airing live on Sunday, February 8 from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. Other stars expected to take the stage at the show include Katy Perry, Lady GaGa, Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani, Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran, Miranda Lambert, Usher and Madonna.
