Fifth Harmony

Following the success of their hit single "Work From Home", Fifth Harmony has become one of the hottest girl groups today. Unfortunately, late last year, one of its members, Camila Cabello, decided to leave the group on the peak of their career. After announcing Camila's departure, the girlband revealed that they would continue performing as a quartet.

The remaining members, Ally Brooke, Lauren Jauregui, Dinah Jane Hansen and Normani Kordei unexpectedly didn't want to change their group's name following the departure. "It was obviously a thought, because it was a prevalent thing that there's 4 of us not 5," Lauren previously said. "Regardless, we were all very much very united in the fact that we didn't want to change the name."

"We felt like within ourselves, no, Fifth Harmony is the name we grew up with and we worked for and it's our brand. It's who we are," she explained. "It's our entire moments. It's what we spent five years on." Dinah added, "The fans named us Fifth Harmony. And now they're the fifth member."

The band didn't let Camila's departure slow them down. In June, they released their first single as a foursome, "Down" featuring Gucci Mane. In the following month, during their performance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon", they announced a new self-titled album "Fifth Harmony".

In anticipation of the release of the new effort on August 25, Fifth Harmony treated fans to another single off the upcoming set. Titled "Angel", the song was released along with its accompanying video two weeks before the album release.

Proving that they are still going strong, the group recently dominated music field at Teen Choice Awards with three awards. They brought home Choice Song Group Award for "Down", and was named Choice Music Group and Choice Summer Group at the event. They also walked away with Favorite Group Award at People's Choice Awards for the second consecutive year a few months ago.
