French Montana

French Montana has come a long way since his humble beginnings as a street rapper and a DVD peddler. He has now become one of the brightest artists in the hip-hop scene with a series of brilliant mixtapes. While the Moroccan-born rapper religiously hits the studio to work on music, he has only two proper albums so far.

Four years after the release of his debut album "Excuse My French" in 2013, Montana released his second studio effort "Jungle Rules" on July 14. The set debuted at No. 3 on Billboard 200 chart and was led by its platinum-selling single, "Unforgettable" featuring Swae Lee of Rae Sremmurd. The song marked the spitter's highest-charting single to date.

"Jungle Rules" has received critical acclaims, as the sophomore album offers a number of musical crossovers. Laced with eighteen tracks, the effort features swirling trap music, sultry R&B and dancehall bop. Montana also embraces his Moroccan roots on the album, as some songs are infused with Arabic-style beats.

Just like his previous efforts, "Jungle Rules" boasts guest appearances from a number of massive hip-hop stars, such as Travis Scott (II), Quavo, Future, Young Thug, The Weeknd and Pharrell Williams.

Montana is on the peak of his career and his hard work has seemingly been paid off. "Music taught me a lot of things. If you do something you don't love, you'll never be successful," he recently shared. "When people try to do something they're not happy doing, it doesn't work."
