Fans of the band will be able to download a live recording of their shows which tour begins this January 20 in Florida.

AceShowbiz - Rockers Linkin Park have teamed up with a group of official bootleggers to make sure fans attending their upcoming shows get a live recording of the concert - for free. The complimentary download will be available to fans who simply send a text message to a short code displayed at each venue. A link will then be emailed to them following the concert.

Basecamp Productions, a pioneer in the development of the official concert bootleg, will be handling the distribution of the live recordings. Linkin Park bassist Dave Farrell tells WENN, "The energy we get from our fans is what makes a great show. We wanted to show our appreciation by giving that experience back to them."

The band's tour begins in Sunrise, Florida on January 20.
