AceShowbiz - The Pussycat Dolls creator Robin Antin has confirmed she is rebuilding the girl group around singer Nicole Scherzinger after a year of turmoil and public bickering. Reports have suggested the group is splitting up, but Antin maintains the Dolls will be back in 2010 - stronger than ever.
She tells MTV News she's planning collaborations with Stacy Ferguson and Snoop Dogg, and fans can expect to see a few new faces in the band. She explains, "It's Nicole and... a couple (of) new faces. Some of the girls want to go and do their own thing. We're moving on."
The announcement comes a month after Antin dismissed ongoing split rumors, which suggested Scherzinger was no longer in contact with the rest of the band. In a statement, she wrote, "The Pussycat Dolls are very much ALIVE and there is NO truth to the silent treatment statements. "Nicole and the Dolls have ALWAYS been close. Nicole is and always has been a strong creative force within this group and I cherish the way we collaborate."
