AceShowbiz - Nick Jonas sparks Olivia Culpo break-up rumors after the duo were spotted checking into separate hotels while they were in New York City on Thursday, June 11. According to Daily Mail, Nick looked "glum" while having lunch with three friends in West Village while Olivia "smiled brightly" strolling the streets of Manhattan.
The site claimed, "As Gwyneth Paltrow once described her separation from Chris Martin, Nick and Olivia appear to have made a 'conscious uncoupling.' " A source told the site that the "Jealous" hitmaker "had booked himself into one hotel" while her girlfriend "had arranged to stay in totally different lodgings." They were last seen together at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards on May 17.
E! News, meanwhile, denied the report, citing its own sources as claiming that Nick and Olivia are totally still together. "They have not broken up," an insider said, "Like any couple they have their ups and downs, but their foundation is really strong and they love each other." According to the site, it was the couple's jam-packed schedules which forced them not to spend time together.
In an interview with ABC News on Thursday morning, Nick said his relationship with Olivia was still "good." The 22-year-old singer replied to a question about his relationship, "It's good. The long distance is tough and dealing with that is always an interesting thing but it's all good. You know, we're both busy and young and enjoying life, and it's going well."
When asked if he planned to work together with her girlfriend, Nick said, "Maybe, yeah, if the right thing came up. For right now, we're just kind of taking it one step at a time."
