Fergie's representative releases an official statement confirming the singer's pregnancy, and is 'pleased to confirm the news.'
Stacy Ferguson, or Fergie, and husband Josh Duhamel happily announce on their Twitter account that they are expecting their first child. Fergie tweeted on February 18, "Josh & Me & BABY makes three!!! #mylovelybabybump." The tweet was attached to a picture of her and Josh as babies. Soon following Fergie's tweet, Josh tweeted the same picture and caption.
Fergie's representative confirms the singer's pregnancy to Just Jared, "Yes, Fergie is pregnant!!! We are pleased to confirm the news." However, there is no further info coming from the representative, including the due date.
Fergie was rumored to be pregnant several times, but the flying rumors were untrue. Last year, Fergie talked to Rachel Ray, "[People ask if I'm pregnant] every time I fluctuate a few pounds. Like right now, I'm a couple pounds up."
She added, "Sometimes I go a couple pounds down and I wear the clothes that are more fitted, but people kind of look at me because they're expecting [that] it's that time. We do hope for children, and that will be coming up, but it's not yet."
In early February, another pregnancy rumor came up after the 37-year-old singer was seen wearing loose clothing when she went out for grocery shopping. However, her husband denied the rumor on "Safe Haven" red carpet on February 5, telling E! News reporter, "No news." Josh who attended "Safe Haven" premiere with Fergie added that having a baby would be his greatest life achievement.
