Words are, the former 'Friends' star demands the producers to replace her topless scene with a 'tamer version' due to her blossoming relationship with her co-star Justin Theroux.
Jennifer Aniston reportedly made a last-minute decision to pull her breasts-baring scene from her upcoming R-rated comedy, "Wanderlust". An insider revealed to The Wrap that the former "Friends" star has demanded the producers to replace her topless scene with a "tamer version".
According to the report, the mentioned scene shows Aniston baring her breats in front of TV news cameras. In a version that will be featured in the movie, the actress will be seen topless from behind with her bare breasts being shown "pixelated" on TV screens.
Regarding the report, a spokeswoman for Universal Pictures weighed in, "The scene was shot a bunch of different ways, and we have the best possible version." Meanwhile, Aniston's publicist Stephen Huvane denied the rumor by saying that "the scene is how it was always supposed to be."
Though so, an insider insisted that while the film was edited with the explicit nudity in it, Aniston pleaded the producers to alter the R-rated footage due to her blossoming romance with Justin Theroux, whom she met while filming the romantic comedy.
In "Wanderlust", Aniston stars opposite Paul Rudd as Linda and George; an overextended, stressed-out Manhattan couple. After George is downsized out of his job, the two find themselves with only one option; to move in with his brother in Atlanta. Along the way, they stumble upon Elysium, an idyllic community populated by colorful characters who embrace a different way of looking at things.
After being premiered in Hollywood on Thursday evening, February 16, the David Wain-directed film will open wide in the U.S. theaters on February 24. Also supporting the comedy are Malin Akerman, Lauren Ambrose, Alan Alda and Ray Liotta.
