The sneak-peek video highlights twelve-year-old Sam, who causes madness among adults after he runs away into the wilderness along with the girl of his dreams.
First trailer for director Wes Anderson's latest movie "Moonrise Kingdom" has made its way out via Apple. Offering a look at vintage-themed scenes, the trailer centers on a scout boy Sam who creates madness among adults after he runs away with the girl of his dreams into the woods. The sneak peek also features Bruce Willis playing a local sheriff and Edward Norton portraying a Khaki Scout troop leader.
Sam is a twelve-year-old young boy living in New England who falls in love with a girl named Suzy. The two then make a secret pact and decide to run away together into the wilderness. As various authorities try to hunt the two kids down, a violent storm is brewing off-shore, and the peaceful island community is turned upside down in more ways than anyone can handle.
Young actor Jared Gilman tackles the part of Sam while Kara Hayward plays his girlfriend Suzy in "Moonrise Kingdom". Portraying Suzy's mother is Frances McDormand, while Bill Murray stars as her eccentric father. Also supporting the film are Tilda Swinton, Jason Schwartzman, Harvey Keitel and Lucas Hedges.
In addition to working behind the lens, Anderson writes the script along with Roman Coppola. The film is ready to be released in limited theaters in the U.S. on May 25.
