AceShowbiz - Toni Braxton apparently has to miss out on the Wednesday, January 11 press event for her reality series, "Braxton Family Values", because of her Lupus. On Thursday, the "Un-Break My Heart" singer took to Twitter to confirm rumors of her hospitalization and to assure fans that she is fine despite initial scare after experiencing some painful "flare ups".

"Hey guys! I'm sure you've heard rumors about me being in the hospital, they are in fact, true. I've been here since Monday but I am fine!" the 43-year-old first tweeted. She followed it up with another post that read, "Just a lupus flare up, but I promise you all I am ok! Love you all! Thanks so much for all of your support! Xoxoxoxoxo :)"

Braxton opened up to the public for the first time about her battle with Lupus back in November 2010. Speaking at a Lupus awareness and research luncheon, she told the audience, "Take a look, this is what lupus looks like." She later shared on Twitter about going public about the autoimmune disease, "It was a tough decision to come out about it. But it was such a relief!"
