Kneeling near her star outside the W Hollywood Hotel on December 1, the 'Legally Blonde' babe looks cheerful as she was accompanied by her two children and dog.
Reese Witherspoon looked as happy as possible when she unveiled her Hollywood Walk of Fame honor on Wednesday, December 1 outside the W Hollywood Hotel. The honor given to her is the 2,425th star dedicated on the celebrated avenue of dreams.
The 34-year-old beauty, appearing in a black mini dress, shared her joy with the loved ones including her children Ava and Deacon, boyfriend Jim Toth, as well as parents John and Betty Witherspoon, who were sitting among other guests. Witherspoon's Chihuahua dog Bruise also did not miss the celebration, with the actress showing her affection to the puppy on the red carpet.
"Never in 462 million years did I think this was going to happen to me. I thought I was going to live in Tennessee and be a doctor," she told ET Online upon receiving the honor. "I'm just so lucky that I get the opportunity to do what I love every day. It's so nice to go to the movie theater and just escape for two hours and dream, and hopefully my films do that for people."
The Wednesday ceremony was designed to coincide with the December 17 U.S. release of her latest movie, "How Do You Know", in which she stars alongside Paul Rudd and Owen Wilson. The Walk of Fame honor is not the only achievement Witherspoon has for she had won an Oscar in 2006 for best actress through her portrayal of June Carter Cash in "Walk the Line".
