Paul W. S. Anderson and Milla Jovovich are now husband and wife. The actress and film director, who first met in 2002 when he directed her in the box office hit "Resident Evil", exchanged vows in an intimate outdoor ceremony staged at their home in Beverly Hills on Saturday, August 22.
The nuptials, which was kicked off at 5:30 P.M., witnessed the bride donning a long and white sleeveless wedding dress that she designed herself. Her hair was down and wavy. The groom, meanwhile, wore a beige suit. The pair's daughter Ever Gabo Anderson, who was born in November 2007, was also in attendance. The little girl reportedly wore a ballerina tutu.
Jovovich "walked down the aisle in the backyard of the couple's Spanish-style house, decorated with red and white floral arrangements," People reports. She and Anderson exchanged matching 18k Neil Lane classic gold wedding bands, the photo of which can be seen on People.
There were approximately 50 people attending the wedding ceremony. Actor Patrick Dempsey and his wife Jillian Fink were present. Prior to the affair, guests were treated to a cocktail reception by the pool, where a Spanish guitarist and a female vocalist entertained with traditional Spanish music.
Post the ceremony, a reception that included entertainment by Cuban musicians playing traditional Cuban drums was held. "The wedding cake was a round, four-tiered white cake decorated with a ribbon," People reveals more.
Soon after the wedding, Jovovich wrote a short message on her Twitter, confirming "The weding was greta,I am so happy to be married,i wore my own designed dress." She then quickly posted another message to correct her spelling, "great*".
