Beside revealing on what he has talked about with creator Mark Millar on possible sequel, director Matthew Vaughn also discusses on the look of 'Kick-Ass' as well as Chloe Moretz as Hit Girl.

AceShowbiz - Director Matthew Vaughn has opened up in recent interview about the possibility of a sequel to his upcoming "Kick-Ass". Talking to Ain't It Cool News, the husband of Claudia Schiffer confessed that he and the comic book creator Mark Millar have thought about an idea for the follow-up movie.

"Mark [Millar] and I over a couple of beers came up with one of the funniest, coolest idea for a sequel that we would only be able to get away with if the film does well," the 38-year-old gushed. "We'd sort of dial it up to eleven, shall we say." Still, he didn't elaborate more on what kind of idea they had in mind regarding the sequel.

Beside talking about sequel likelihood, Vaughn also shared on how he thinks the movie will look like. "For me, I thought that if I shot it grittily, you'd then expect gritty shit to happen. So I thought let's do the opposite; let's make it glossy, so you could easily see these characters in SPIDER-MAN. but it's like 'What would happen if Spider-Man were in the real world?'," he explained.

The director of "Stardust" furthermore praised one of the actors involved, Chloe Moretz. Of the depicter of Hit Girl, he noted, "Okay. When you watch it... I will bet you any amount of money you want...anything at any odds...I'll give you a million-to-one odds if you want...that you will a) fall in love with her, b) buy her, and c) think, 'My god, I just saw the Jodie Foster / Natalie Portman of this generation'."

"Kick-Ass" is adapted from a comic book series by John Romita Jr. and Mark Millar. It tells the story of Dave Lizewski, an ordinary teenage boy who decides to be a real life hero donning a superhero suit in his action. Starring Aaron Johnson as the titular character, this action fantasy film is supported by the likes of Nicolas Cage, Lyndsy Fonseca and Christopher Mintz-Plasse. Footage from this live-action movie will be presented during Comic Con 2009.
