In working on his debut album, Adam Lambert is reported to receive helping hands from RedOne, the mastermind behind Lady GaGa's hit singles. Adam and RedOne are said to have lingered in Los Angeles' studio over the weekend.
Sources from Adam's label, 19 Recordings, say that the singer's upcoming effort will be filled with "Queen-inspired" sounds. But according to E! Online, the runner-up of "American Idol" season eight and the powerhouse producer are looking "for a new sound that goes beyond what he did on 'Idol'."
RedOne recently shared his vision to Los Angeles Times about what he is interested to do for Adam's new album. The producer said, "I want to go rock -- David Bowie and Queen, but make it more easy for people to get. It has to be rock, but with an interesting dance angle to it, you know? You'll like it."
"You know what I like about him? He's fresh," RedOne continued. "You can go almost whatever direction with him. People know him from being on 'American Idol' singing other people's songs, but you can take him in a new direction, and this will be the first time you hear Adam Lambert with his signature. My goal is to get his signature out from him to the world."
Adam Lambert's first studio album is set for release this fall. Unlike his labelmates, Kris Allen and Allison Iraheta, whose records are licensed to Jive Records, Adam's is licensed to RCA.
While waiting for his album to be finished, Adam Lambert's fans can enjoy several of his singles, "Mad World", "No Boundaries", "A Change Is Gonna Come" and "One", which all have been made available for digital purchase. They can also catch Adam's live performances with the other Idol castmates on Top Ten American Idol Summer Tour which will be started at Rose Garden in Portland on July 5.

Adam is such a big deal. So sweet to the ears /so easy on the eyes and so kind to the nervous system. We have been waiting for this guy for a long time.
with all the wonderful things about Adam that is written and said he is also an intelligent well spoken and interesting guest on shows that interview him. It is a pleasure to listen to him speak and laugh. He wiil be sought after because he will be a wonderful and most interesting guest on shows. all the very best to him now and forever.

So thrilled with this news on RedOne. It's obvious that the powers that be know what a talent they have in Adam. We knew that already, too!! Can't wait for the album. Seriously. I. Can't. Wait. I'm hoping for a sneak peak soonish.

Adam was the best thing that ever came along on American Idol. He is highly talented, gifted, intelligent, funny, compassionate, down to earth, humble, thoughtful and the list can go on and on - because it does. Maybe a part of America wasn't ready for you but those are the narrow-minded, judgemental freaks. We love and adore you. See you in Super Stardom!

Adam Rocks! Just make sure we can hear his voice and do some video because we love to watch him. Hope he tours because I'd definately pay to see him and buy his CDs.

To tij....excuse me with all due respect, Adam will take music to a new level and dimension however, the belting is part of his signature and what got him to where he is now. There are many many many of us that love the belting, high register notes, and as for me personally that is music to my ears. Adam performs with such control and clarity and it is part of what makes him an artist and who he is. Are you a producer or something. Trying to change Adam to fit your mold. Let him make his own beautiful music. I'm sure Adam already has plans on what he wants for his first album.

Adam, you are the one last hope of the music industry. The music on the radio sucks bad today. It is filled with boring music and same old music from the manufactured idols. Lady Gaga, Katy Perry are the new wave of music for the late 2000's. You need to expand on what they have and go further with that new wave. For example, Lady took the auto-tune and expanded/morphed to create a new wave of music. That's what we need, you take what is hot and current and morphed it to a new wave- invent music. Much of the new wave of music comes from the sound of the band itself. The band is one of the most important aspect of the new wave. Then add your voice to the new sound. If you play the background music, that itself should already be new wave, then add your voice which should NOT be theatrical and NOT belting. When you sing, it should match the lyrics of the song. If a happy song and happy beat, the voice should be happy. The voice should also always be SEXY, because that is LAMBERT's signature.
