Ludacris-Starring 'Ball Don't Lie' Gets Teaser Trailer

A new teaser trailer of 'Ball Don't Lie', a Brin Hill-directed drama starring among others Ludacris and Nick Cannon, has been debuted.

MTV has shared a look into "Ball Don't Lie" through the film's first teaser trailer. Around one minute long, the promotional video provides glimpses at several characters played by Dania Ramirez, Emilie de Ravin, Ludacris, Rosanna Arquette and Nick Cannon among others.

Based on Matt de la Pena's novel, "Ball Don't Lie" is an urban basketball coming-of-age drama, which follows the story of 17-year-old foster care kid named Sticky. Living in Venice, California, Sticky has bounced from one foster home after another and lived on the street in between. Still, he discovers that his incredible talent at basketball opens doors for him to get out of his dead-end life.

Premiered at the 2008 Tribeca Film Festival, this drama movie is directed, produced and written by Brin Hill. Aside from Nick Cannon, Ludacris, Emilie de Ravin, Rosanna Arquette and Dania Ramirez, it also sees Melissa Leo and Harold Perrineau in the cast ensemble. The movie will hit limited U.S. theaters on June 5.
