Perez Hilton claims in a report on its site that Katy Perry and Josh Groban are dating. Citing one of the multiple sources who are aware of the music stars' romance, the site writes the alleged lovers are trying to keep their romance private. No single evidence is provided though.
Katy Perry, who claims her fame in music industry with single "I Kissed a Girl", previously dated Gym Class Heroes frontman Travis McCoy. They first met through her music producer in 2005. Reports of them breaking up surfaced in early 2009. Though so none of them has spoken publicly about their split.
After splitting up with Travis, Katy was romantically linked to Paris Hilton's ex-boyfriend Benji Madden after she was seen with the male musician at Lavo. She has since denied dating the Good Charlotte member though, insisting they are just friends and nothing more. As for Josh Groban, he previously dated actress January Jones.
Neither Josh nor Katy has confirmed that they are dating, but several online blogs have published the same story as the one made public by Perez Hilton.

Honestly, do you really think someone who sings "I kissed a girl and I liked it...", would really dare to understand what he sings? It´s like mixing up darkness and light. Give me a break... life is full of suprises.

Rumours abound! I very much doubt this is true but considering Josh is a good friend to Katy and that she has recently split up with her partner, I wouldn't be at all surprised if he was offering her emotional help and support. Josh is a lovely gentle, caring person and by all accounts, a good friend. Until Josh himself says so, I will treat the information as being unconfirmed and just a rumour.
