E! Online has claimed in an exclusive report on its site, dated Wednesday, February 11, that Chris Brown has been spotted at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. "He's staying in a suite on an upper floor of the hotel," the site wrote.
"They had to kick out any paparazzi that were around and get him tons of security to sneak him in," an unnamed source in the city informed E! Online. Despite the claim, a Hard Rock spokesman declined to comment, stating "We cannot confirm that Chris is staying with us. However, several of his friends are staying on [the] property."
Meanwhile, investigation is still on-going in Chris Brown's felony battery case with some gossip websites claiming that his heated argument with Rihanna over the weekend was prompted by a text message he received from a woman who wrote about "hooking up later" with him.
TMZ obtained a confirmation from law enforcement sources who said Chris was driving his car with Rihanna in the passenger's seat when he received a text message from the woman. Since that time speculation has been mounting on the identity of the other woman, ranging from singer Leona Lewis to celebrity-socialite Paris Hilton.
Neither Chris nor Rihanna has tried to clear the air up and shared the truth behind their big blow-up. The felony battery case which the LAPD addresses to Chris has been turned over to the D.A.'s office and prosecutors are waiting for results of further investigation into the incident before they decide whether to press charges against Chris or not.
