Her wedding to husband Ty Murray was a top secret, but Jewel Kilcher doesn't mind sharing the photos of her nuptials to People magazine. The weekly publication, in addition to the pics, also has details of the ceremony which aren't covered by any other media.
In its weekly issue, People features a picture that shows Jewel and Ty posing on a beach during the sunset. They are photographed standing on the sand in front of what appears to be a lamp, backing the sunset, with him embracing her from behind.
Spilling the beans on her secret nuptials, Jewel did admit to People one day after she eloped with Ty to the Bahamas on August 7 that pulling off "the wedding quietly made it magical." She then went on revealing further details on the wedding venue and the persons who were in attendance.
The wedding was held at The Cove Atlantis resort in the Bahamas with only two people attending, they were Jewel's former keyboard player Jason Freese, who officiated the couple and his wife Amy. Jewel and Ty exchanged vows at sunset on the sand as Otis Redding's "I've Been Loving You Too Long" was played from their private cabana.
She was wearing Monique Lhuillier's wedding dress, whereas Ty wore jeans and cowboy boots. "I said that I'll try to make our lives the best piece of art I've ever done," Jewel told People.
Sharing their wedding bliss with close friends and family, the newlyweds invited them to enjoy a surprise fireworks display from the resort, during when they broke the news of their marriage.
The other wedding photos and further details of Jewel and Ty's wedding are on this week issue of People.

She married the wrong guy.
Sorry Grrr...I think Jewel sounds great no matter what genre she sings. Being a fan means accepting the artist for whatever choice they make musically, in my opinion.
The world Jewel Forum wishes Jewel and Ty the best in their wedding.
Well I hope she's happy at least. I however, am totally annoyed that she has betrayed her "folk" roots and switched to country - the most nauseating music on the planet. I will continue to enjoy her fist three albulms - and not buy any more until she drops the country facade!
Jewel's music will go where ever her muse carries her, as it should. Best wishes of happiness to them both.
