Share the honor of being recent Oscar nominees, Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams apparently sharing a bit more than that. The two movie stars spark dating rumors after they were seen having dinner together Tuesday, December 11 at New York restaurant Piadina and caught by onlookers sharing a cozy cigarette outside the West 10th Street eatery.

Gosling and Williams reportedly also spotted walking along Bleecker Street in New York's Greenwich Village and even stopped for some photos with fans near Sullivan Street.

Representatives for both Gosling and Williams, in fact, said they weren't on a date, but just discussing an upcoming film project they're working on together.

Gosling recently split with longtime girlfriend, actress Rachel McAdams. They were co-stars in the 2004 drama "The Notebook" and had since then dating.

As of Williams, she is also recently single following her split from longtime partner Heath Ledger, who's the father of daughter Matilda Rose Ledger.
