Kourtney Kardashian is following sister Kim Kardashian's footsteps to become a real actress. The oldest of the Kardashian sisters has landed her first acting job where she is not going to play herself.

Kourtney has a guest spot on soap opera "One Life to Live" and she will shoot her first scene on Thursday, November 11. Per E! Online, she would share a frame with David Fumero who plays Cristian Vega, as well as Kassie DePaiva who portrays troublemaker Blair Cramer. Other specifics are kept under the radar.

Kelly Clarkson gave some pop/rock vibes to the stage of 2010 Country Music Association Awards on the Wednesday night of November 10. Introduced by host duo Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, the singer made her first ever CMA performance as Jason Aldean's duet partner in "Don't You Wanna Stay".

"Don't You Wanna Stay" is taken from Aldean's newly-released studio effort titled "My Kinda Party". The album is currently debuting at No. 2 on Billboard Hot 200, selling around 193,000 copies in its opening week.

Former Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash is celebrating after his solo debut was named Album of the Year at the Classic Rock Roll of Honor awards on Wednesday, November 10. Keith Richards showed his feisty temper to a critic who once gave The Rolling Stones a bad review by allegedly smacking him in the head at a hotel in Paris, France on Tuesday, November 9. The guitarist spent 10 minutes chatting to Markus Larsson before remembering the Swedish journalist had called the band "amateurs" in 2007 and gave their concert in Gothenburg, Sweden two out of five stars.

According to Spinner.com, which quotes an article in Sweden's Aftonbladets, Richards demanded an apology for the poor rating before getting into an argument with the writer. The publication claims, "The meeting ended with the rock star threatening Markus Larsson and hitting him in the head."

Lady GaGa has obtained a restraining order against a fan who allegedly sent the pop star a menacing letter. The "Bad Romance" singer is said to have been left fearing for her life after Russian student Anastasia Obukhova sent her a creepy note describing her "dream" of dying together.

The message, which was intercepted by GaGa's management team, read: "You come to my dreams. I want to die and I want to die together with you. I am not (John Lennon's assassin) Mark Chapman. It is not only you who will die. I will shoot a bullet through my head too."

Disney plans to turn another theme park attraction into a movie. Called "Magic Kingdom", the project is about to get its helmer. According to Deadline Hollywood, Jon Favreau is currently in talks to direct the movie, which was first conceived two years ago.

"Magic Kingdom" has got a draft by "Battlestar Galactica" scribe Ronald D. Moore. However, if Favreau signs up for the project, a new writer will be hired to work on a new draft under Favreau. Strike Entertainment Marc Abraham and Eric Newman are producing the film.

Actress/rocker Juliette Lewis discovered the downside of fame when she was recently involved in a hit-and-run car crash - because the news broke before she had the chance to tell her loved ones.

The song is likely the one which was previously announced to be featured on the title credits of "Voyage of the Dawn Treader". The soundtrack will be released in full on iTunes later this month on date 16. Underwood co-wrote the song.

Zooey Deschanel could join the cast of new "Spider-Man" movie. Rumor has it, the 30-year-old actress/singer is in talks with helmer Marc Webb to portray Betty Brant, a sexy PA of Daily Bugle boss J. Jonah Jameson.

The news was first brought into attention by Showbiz Spy (via Collider). According to the site, an insider said, "He (Marc) wants a strong performer to carry the role and Zooey fits the bill perfectly. The role is hers if she wants it." British girl group The Saturdays are set to stop traffic in London's Trafalgar Square on Thursday, November 11 to commemorate fallen soldiers. The pop band will bring the U.K. capital to a standstill at 10.58 A.M., when all traffic lights around the busy tourist attraction will turn red and members of the Armed Forces will hold up signs asking drivers to observe two minutes of silence on the memorial day.

Shyne, the rapper who was convicted for his part in an infamous New York nightclub shooting, has become an orthodox Jew. The Belizean-born hip-hop star served almost nine years of a 10-year sentence for opening fire at a 1999 party, where P. Diddy and his then-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez were among the guests.

The couple fled after the shooting and, as a result, became entangled in the legal battle which eventually landed Shyne behind bars. He legally changed his name from Jamal Michael Barrow to Moses Michael Levi while he was in prison and now he's living in Jerusalem, where he strictly observes the Jewish faith, according to The New York Times.

Marie Osmond has spoken out for the first time since her adopted son's suicide in February, revealing the tragedy was the "hardest thing" she has ever had to deal with. In an emotional interview with U.S. talk show host Oprah Winfrey, Osmond admits she endured every parent's worst nightmare when 18-year-old Michael Bryan jumped to his death from the balcony of his Los Angeles apartment.

Recalling the last phone conversation she had with him, she says, "(He told me) 'I have no friends.' It brought back when I went through (post-partum) depression because you really feel so alone. I'm not a depressed person, but I understand that place, that darkness."

"300" star Gerard Butler has been hit with a trademark infringement lawsuit over the name of his production company. The owners of Hollywood firm Evil Twin Prods are taking legal action against the Scottish actor and his business partner Alan Siegel, who named their company Evil Twins Entertainment.

Kristen Armfield and Harri Mark have a registered trademark on Evil Twin and have used the banner since their launch in 1996, according to a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles on Tuesday, November 9. The plaintiffs maintain they have received calls intended for Butler's Evil Twins since its creation in 2008.

Disney's famous character Winnie the Pooh is set to entertain kids in theaters next summer and first photos from the movie "Winnie the Pooh" have been made available for viewing pleasure. It turns out to be a very busy day for a bear who simply sets out to find some hunny.

Police is moving on with the investigation of a possible domestic violence in the relationship of "Teen Mom" star Amber Portwood and her ex-fiance Gary Shirley. Back in September, MTV aired an episode where Amber threw punches and kicks at Gary when he threatened to leave and report her to Child Protective Services. The unedited tape is now requested for investigation.

Actress Sophia Bush is set to wed her "One Tree Hill" co-star and real life boyfriend Austin Nichols, according to U.S. tabloid reports. The 28 year old has been dating the actor on and off since 2006 and the couple is now said to be heading to the alter.

One of the much anticipated performances at this year's CMA Awards was probably Gwyneth Paltrow's first ever gig. The "Country Strong" star was there to promote the upcoming film, teaming up with Vince Gill and making a duet in the title track of the movie soundtrack.

British funnyman Russell Brand is to be recognized for his contributions to women's cancer charities at a star-studded comedy gala in Los Angeles in December. Newly-freed rapper Lil Wayne is facing a paternity battle following his release from jail - a Missouri woman filed court papers during his incarceration alleging he fathered a child back in 2002. In August, while he was in jail, he was served with a legal letter demanding he submit to a DNA test to determine whether he fathered an eight-year-old boy with an unnamed Missouri woman.
