Also set to perform remotely for the two-hour TV fundraiser, which aims to bring an end to child poverty around the world, are Sam Smith, Meghan Trainor and OneRepublic among others.

AceShowbiz - Sam Smith, Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton, and Ellie Goulding are coming together to headline America's sixth annual Red Nose Day Special telethon.

Meghan Trainor, OneRepublic, James Taylor, and Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers will also be performing remotely for the charity event, which aims to draw donations to help bring an end to child poverty around the world.

This year's two-hour TV fundraiser on 21 May will also feature the Celebrity Escape Room challenge, for which "Friends" stars Lisa Kudrow and Courteney Cox reunited - before the COVID-19 pandemic - and joined forces with Ben Stiller and "Big Little Lies" actor Adam Scott to solve a series of time-sensitive puzzles, putting their mental skills to the test.

Since launching in the U.S. in 2015, Red Nose Day has raised $200 million (£161 million) for kids in underserved global communities.
