The singer turns heads and sets social media aflame with a dazzling tribute to one of film's most memorable pieces of jewelry during their BBC Proms performance at the Royal Albert Hall.

AceShowbiz - Sam Smith brought a touch of Hollywood glamor to the stage at the BBC Proms concert in London, recreating the iconic Heart of the Ocean necklace from James Cameron's "Titanic". The blue topaz necklace, illuminated by 23 carats of diamonds, was a showstopper as it glittered against Smith's custom Vivienne Westwood gown.

The necklace, originally famous from "Titanic" and later worn by Celine Dion at the 1998 Oscars, gave Sam's performance an unexpected twist of nostalgia and opulence. Asprey crafted the updated version Smith wore, featuring a 40-carat heart-shaped blue topaz pendant on an 18-carat white gold chain.

Smith's choice of attire didn't stop at the necklace. Their custom Vivienne Westwood gown, designed by Andreas Kronthaler, was just as striking, complete with an acoustic velvet corset and a dramatic maroon taffeta skirt. The "Stay With Me" singer added long burgundy gloves for that extra flair. It was a smart nod to the kind of theatrical elegance that epitomizes the BBC Proms, while making a clear statement about their unique sense of style.

While wearing the Heart of the Ocean during their performance of "Latch", the singer brought back memories of Celine Dion's original performance in a nearly identical necklace, which had a staggering 171-carat blue sapphire and 102 carats of diamonds. Dion's version was later auctioned for $2.2 million to benefit the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fund.
