Featuring David Spade, Jenna Dewan, KJ Apa, Sarah Hyland, Joey King, Kelly Rowland and Terry Crews as presenters, the award-giving event honors people in TV, Movie and Music industry. "Stranger Things" came out as the biggest winner in TV department with 3 trophies.
The hit Netflix sci-fi series was honored with the award of The Show of 2019, besting out "Game of Thrones" which led the pack with 8 nominations. Additionally, "Stranger Things" won The Drama Show of 2019 category that night.
Star Millie Bobby Brown also collected one trophy for herself. The 15-year-old actress, who played Eleven on the series, was announced as the winner of The Female TV Star of 2019, edging out Danai Gurira ("The Walking Dead"), Sophie Turner ("Game of Thrones"), Reese Witherspoon ("Big Little Lies") and Lili Reinhart ("Riverdale") among others. The star, however, didn't attend the event.
As for The Comedy Show of 2019, the award went to "The Big Bang Theory" with "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" winning the category of The Reality Show of 2019. "America's Got Talent" walked away with a trophy for The Competition Show of 2019 after successfully winning over "RuPaul's Drag Race", "The Real Housewives of Atlanta", "Queer Eye" and "Bachelor in Paradise" among others.
Other winners included Cole Sprouse, who won The Male TV Star of 2019 for his stunning portrayal of Jughead Jones on The CW's "Riverdale". Zendaya Coleman was also among the honorees after being named as the winner of The Drama TV Star of 2019 for her appearance on "Euphoria".
