Jimmy Fallon is the latest celebrity who has joined forces to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey. The comedian announced on his "Tonight Show" Tuesday, September 5 that they would donate $1 million to J.J. Watt's hurricane relief fund that has provided food, water and supplies to the victims of the disaster.

"Last week we saw the devastating effects of Hurricane Harvey on the state of Texas. But in the face of this tragedy, we saw good," Fallon opened the show. "We saw communities banding together. Neighbors helping neighbors. Strangers helping strangers."

He shared some examples of people who stepped forward to help one another. "So many heroes-people like Mattress Mack, who opened up his stores and showrooms for those who needed shelter. The group of people who formed a human chain to save a man from a flooded SUV," Fallon said in his monologue. "And J.J. Watt from the Houston Texans, who has raised over $18 million dollars to provide food, water, and supplies to the victims."

"I'm proud to say that our show, 'The Tonight Show', is donating $1 million dollars to J.J.'s fund. Thank you, J.J," Fallon announced. The NFL star revealed on Tuesday that his relief fund had passed the $20 million mark.

Fallon later invited to the show Victoria White, Marquist Taylor and their Houston gospel choir, whose video of their spontaneous performance at the hurricane shelter went viral. The choir, backed by up house band The Roots, performed "Lean on Me" for the audience.

Fallon is joining the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Kevin Hart, Sandra Bullock, The Kardashians, Jennifer Lopez and boyfriend Alex Rodriguez, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Chris Brown, T.I., DJ Khaled, Ellen DeGeneres, Chris Young and Jared Leto who have helped the victims of Hurricane Harvey in Houston, Texas with their donations. DiCaprio and Bullock donated $1 million each.
