Among tonight's performers were comedian Preacher Lawson, singing ventriloquist Darci Lynne, America's favorite Chase Goehring and subway singer Mike Yung.

AceShowbiz - We've finally made it to the "America's Got Talent" semifinals. On Tuesday, September 5 episode of the NBC talent competition show, 11 semifinalists took the stage to deliver their performances, hoping to be one of the seven acts advancing to the finals.

First performer was Yoli Mayor, who was saved in the first live shows. The singer seemingly took judge Simon Cowell's advice to trip back her performance and show her raw talent very seriously. She managed to bring what Simon wanted in tonight's performance while singing "Say You Won't Let Go" by James Arthur. Once Yoli finished, Simon proclaimed, "You are BACK! What a beautiful performance, what a beautiful song."

Following Yoli was magician Eric Jones. Eric, who was the only magician left on the competition, performed a close-up coin trick with Simon and fellow judges Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and Melanie Brown a.k.a. Mel B. Eric made his four coins disappear in each of the judges' hands, much to the judges' amazement. Mel thought Eric was a real super hero, while Heidi loved his delivery.

Performing next was DaNell Daymon & Greater Works. The gospel singer perfectly nailed Aerosmith's hit "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" in the emotional performance. The four judges and the audience gave the singers a standing ovation at the end of the performance. "JESUS TAKE THE WHEEL!" Mel exclaimed.

Comedian Preacher Lawson once again brought laughter to the Dolby Theater. He presented a hilarious take on being single as well as made fun of his big lips. His epic act made Simon wondered why he hadn't made it big already. Mel and Heidi also thought he was about to make it really really big.

Johnny Manuel opted for an original song for his act tonight. The singer delivered an epic performance singing the song titled "Blind Faith" with fiery stage behind him. Despite giving his best, Howie and Mel didn't like that he sang an original song tonight. But Howie and Mel's opinions didn't sit well with Heidi and Simon as they loved "Blind Faith".

Billy and Emily England were back with their death-defying roller-blading act. The brother and sister performed their dangerous act with a fire breathing dragon statue on the fiery stage. At the end of their performance, Billy threw her sister off the stage. Yes, you read that right. "This is everything we've always hoped this show would be-it was strange, it was terrifying," Simon complimented.

Evie Claire followed, singing an emotional rendition of "Yours" by Ella Henderson. Donning a beautiful white dress, the 13-year-old played a piano while surrounded by gorgeous pink flowers. She dedicated the song to her sick father. "You are gutsy. Your dad is going to be so proud of you," gushed teary-eyed Simon.

Sara and her dog Hero later hit the stage with a beachy-themed performance. Hero and his brother Loki had fun on stage as they were playing with frisbee as well as beach volleyball. Mel and Howie were definitely in love with the act as they just kept laughing as the dogs tug on their Frisbee.

America's favorite Chase Goehring returned with another original called "What Is Love". The singer flaunted his amazing singing talent and gorgeous songwriting talent, further blowing the judges' minds. "If Ed Sheeran and Logic had a baby, it would be Chase," said Howie.

Darci Lynne was up next. The singing ventriloquist introduced another puppet named Edna while belting out Carole King's classic "Natural Woman". Edna successfully blew the jugdes' mind away as it serenaded Simon a love song. Simon thought the act was brilliant, while Howie thought that Darci's acts was simply "amazing."

Rounding out tonight's performances was Mike Yung. Mike, who has been singing in the subway for over thirty years, sang "Don't Give Up on Me" by Solomon Burke. All four judges loved him and thought tonight was his best performance yet.
