Besides music, BET Awards honors African-American actors and athletes. Stephen Curry (II) was named Sportsman of the Year, while Serena Williams was named Sportswoman of the Year. Taraji P. Henson nabbed Best Actress Award and Mahershala Ali walked away with Best Actor Award.
