It looks like another royal wedding is happening soon. After dating for a year, Prince Harry reportedly plans to propose to Meghan Markle with an engagement ring made from Princess Diana's old bracelet.
An insider tells Daily Star that the huge emerald ring will be "flashy but not ostentatious." It will cost around $1.27 million and royal jeweler Harry Collins is believed to be one who will make it. An employee at Collins' jewelry shop claims that their shop is in charge of designing the ring.
Another source tells the website that Harry wants to get married quickly after his grandfather Prince Philip was rushed to hospital due to infection. "The romance might feel rushed, but Harry is certain Meghan is 'the one,' " the source says. "It is because of his grandad's ill-health that he has broken the usual two-year romance protocol."
Harry allegedly wants his grandfather to see him exchange wedding vows. "Harry thinks he got his 'joker' gene from Prince Philip, and is desperate for his grandfather to see him get married while there is still time. They are very close," the source shares. "He has approached his father and grandmother for a 'fast pass' for the permission to go ahead and propose."
Meghan was recently spotted wearing a gold diamond ring that was believed to be a gift from the prince. "It's a gold band and Harry gave it to her about six weeks ago. She's happily told people on set that it is from him and said it is a little too big so she is always careful not to lose sight of it," a source revealed.
