Beyonce Knowles wins big with two kudos for Best Female R 'n' B Artist and Video of the Year, becoming the only singer who walks home with multiple trophies at 2009 BET Awards.

AceShowbiz - 2009 BET Awards has been wrapped, and it is revealed that Beyonce Knowles led its winners list with two nods. She received her first award in Best Female R&B Artist category, beating Keyshia Cole, Keri Hilson, Jennifer Hudson and Jazmine Sullivan.
Then, Beyonce added another trophy with Video of the Year prize, thanks to her "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" music video. During her acceptance speech when collecting this award, she thanked Michael Jackson.
Though Keri lost Best Female R&B Artist to Beyonce, she managed to snap an honor for Best New Artist. Other musicians walking home with an award in their pockets were Lil Wayne, Ne-Yo, M.I.A. and DAY26 among others. Beside recognizing best icons in music industry, the annual event taking place at Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium also honored Best Male and Female Athlete as well as Best Actor and Actress.
NBA star LeBron James won Best Male Athlete, and tennis player Serena Williams was named Best Female Athlete. As for Best Actor and Actress, the prizes were handed to Will Smith and Taraji P. Henson respectively.
