Charlie and Alan invite Russell, the pharmacist, over for Evelyn's birthday dinner hoping this set up will help cheer up a depressed Evelyn. It backfires when Russell brings over a hot date sending Evelyn into the bathroom upset. Russell's hot date goes to comfort Evelyn and they end up hooking up and now Russell is depressed.
