When Walden tries hiring Alan as his assistant, Alan conducts interviews for his own assistant to do the tasks Walden has asked him to do. In the process of interviewing candidates, a beautiful woman shows up at the door and we learn she is Charlie Harper's illegitimate daughter, Jenny. It comes to light that Charlie and Jenny's mother had a one-time fling in the bathroom at Pavlov's, and when Jenny was born, Charlie would offer financial support but his drunken escapades prevented him from committing to fatherhood. Upon hearing of her long lost granddaughter, an excited Evelyn comes over and starts bickering with Alan over their plans for Jenny, both clearly desperate to have a piece of Charlie back. While everyone is arguing, Jenny takes off and they find her at a nearby bus stop where she explains that she simply wanted to see where her dad lived. Alan, Walden and Evelyn take Jenny to Pavlov's so she can see where her dad really lived. Walden picks up a waitress and brings her back to the house, only to discover that she just wanted to sleep with Jenny. Walden and Alan learn that Jenny is a womanizer much like her father.
