Wine of the week: 2008 Casa Barranca Pinot Noir, Arroyo Grande Valley - Run baby Run says go the distance, and no grape goes the distance more than Pinot Noir. With a finish that lasts and lasts, the 2008 Pinot listed here is grown at the Laetitia vineyard, one of the best in Arroyo Grande for Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The spice will pair nicely with Sarah's new (maybe???) boyfriend, who has a few tricks hidden up his sleeve and as for Kitty and politics, there's nothing better than a nice glass of Pinot to sort all this stuff out! Add surrogacy into the mix and you have an episode which will pair beautifully with a great, complex wine from the central coast of California... Cheers!

The key word for this episode is "aflutter." Details to follow.

When Nora volunteers to fix an error Saul made with the taxes, she's feeling all aflutter to be doing something productive. That is until her big brother takes offense at the fact that she's sitting at "his" desk doing "his" job.

Now that Robert has dropped out of the governor's race, he must focus on fundraising for his reelection to the senate. That's if he's even going to run again. He tells Kitty that he loves the job, but hates everything around it. And for that reason, he just doesn't want to do it anymore. Robert says, "We're done running for office." This has Kitty a bit aflutter, as she let it slip to a friend that she's thinking about running for Congress.

Sarah has been having coffee with Roy, the divorced dad she met at Paige's science fair. She invites Roy to join her for a family dinner. She's all aflutter about this guy. Her attitude changes when she attends a meeting at the school where Roy has spearheaded a plan to perform random locker searches. Sarah thinks it's a violation of the kids' rights and she's no longer aflutter. But Roy still shows up for dinner.

Kevin and Scotty are doing the surrogate thing with Michelle, who finds out she can't have sex until Week 16 of her pregnancy. A gas leak forces Michelle to stay at Sarah's place during the dinner party where her 19-year-old boyfriend, Sam, shows up. This has Kevin all aflutter in a bad way. Michelle has been implanted with the embryos, but she's not pregnant yet. He just doesn't want anything to disturb Michelle's bed-rest.

The debate about locker searches kicks in again at the dinner party. Sarah is surprised to learn that most of her family agrees with Roy. Only Kitty is on her side. Robert says, "We don't always agree on everything." And Roy says, "That's as it should be." Sarah is impressed with his attitude. You could say she's aflutter once more.

It's obvious that Saul is not himself. When it comes out that he's feeling as though he's too old to ever realize his dreams, Kitty tries to convince him that's just not true. Her brush with death made her see how much time she's wasted. But it also inspired her to go for it. And by it, we mean she says she IS going to make a run for Congress. Too bad she didn't discuss it with Robert, who happens to have overheard her new plan.

When the dinner party ends, Sarah and Roy enjoy a cup of coffee in the kitchen. They have a nice little heart-to-heart chat. Sarah apologizes for how she overreacted, but Roy doesn't seem to care. He likes Sarah and comes out says just that. It's obvious that she also likes him, as they share a nice little kiss.

Kitty has inspired Saul to become proactive with his life. He joins "Silver Studs." It's an online dating service for gay men of a certain age. Saul then tells Nora that she did a great job fixing his accounting error. He further says, "Ojai is a family business and I just want you to know that whenever you want to come, you are most welcome." So, what do you think that's going to mean for our favorite Walker family matriarch?

Back home, Kitty and Robert chat about the Congress thing. He's upset that she didn't talk to him about it first and wants to know if she definitely wants to run. She does. Robert will support her, but he doesn't think she should run for a petty little congressional position. If she really wants to run for office, she should think bigger. Like say...Senator. Even though we're feeling it, we'll resist the urge to say this idea has us all aflutter. Whoops.
