Olivia's brother, Brian, returns after not having seen her in years. The little girl is thrilled. Kevin and Scotty... not so much. Brian is filing for custody of Olivia. He has a solid shot at getting her since the adoption is not completely finalized. Kevin and Scotty have no other choice but to appear before a judge.

Lily is missing. Nora and Justin post "Lost Dog" flyers all over the neighborhood. During the search and rescue mission, Nora asks Olivia if she would like to invite her brother over. Needless to say, Kevin and Scotty aren't happy about this. The hearing before the judge gets them even more riled up once they learn that Brian isn't a big fan of their lifestyle.

Even after what happened with the judge, Brian is still coming by Nora's place. The guy's a war vet, so Justin wants to have a little chat with him. It doesn't go well. Later, Olivia asks her brother if she'd still be able to see Kevin and Scotty if she lived with him. Brian's never going to let that happen.

Lily finally makes her way home and she brings a stray little friend with her. Olivia is happy to hear that Nora has no intention of turning Lily's new pooch pal out into the streets. The judge is ready to rule on who will get custody when there's a knock on the door of her chambers. It's Olivia and she has something to say.

Olivia says that the Walkers let everyone into their lives, even scruffy old dogs they've never seen before. The judge has heard enough. She's letting Olivia stay right where she is. Brian is angry, but some meaningful words from Nora give him something to think about. Later that night, Brian joins his sister and her two dads for dinner at the restaurant where they are already looking like one big happy family.

Luc gets great news from the art gallery. They are finally giving him his own show. That means he's going to be working 10 hours a day, so he and Sarah must start planning the wedding ASAP. Luc feels she keeps putting things off. Sarah denies that's the case, but a look in her eye makes us think otherwise. Hmm.

Kitty's heart is aching for Seth. She's afraid to see him out of fear that he'll slam the door in his face. Sarah doesn't think that'll ever happen. She says, "The only thing that man is going to be slamming is you against a wall." Subtle, Sarah. Real subtle. All wall-slamming gets put on hold once Kitty realizes Seth is dating Berklee, a young lady who used to be in her class.

Sarah encourages her sis to crash Seth's dinner date with the girl whose name sounds like part of the University of California school system. She and Luc will be her wingmen. Kitty saunters into the restaurant in her sexiest outfit. She pulls up a chair, much to Berklee's dismay. Go, Kitty, go!

Sarah ups the stakes by sending Luc out as Berklee bait. Let the flirting begin! Seth gets hip to the romantic sting operation Kitty and Sarah have set up. Things get real awkward, real fast and Seth heads out the door. The next day, Seth announces that Berklee has gone bye-bye which give Kitty a chance to say how she truly feels about this fine young man. A passionate kiss seals the deal because Kitty Walker always gets her man.
