Brothers & Sisters Episode 5.20 Father Unknown

Oodles of family secrets are revealed. In other words, it's business as usual for the Walkers.

Nora is still reeling from the whole Brody situation. Justin can't stand seeing his mom so confused. He blurts out the secret that there's a chance Brody could be Sarah's father. The only way to find out for sure is to do a covert DNA test. Nora already has one of Brody's old baseball caps. Now she needs a sample from Sarah.

Saul thinks Sarah and Luc should sign a prenuptial agreement. That's a great idea…NOT! Sarah won't hear of it and Luc is completely offended. This makes things a bit awkward as Luc and Saul try to come up with a surprise wedding song for Sarah. Their music venture is interrupted when Nora tries to swipe Sarah's hairbrush. She's not the most discreet DNA thief in the land, so Luc catches her before she can get the goods.

Saul and Luc put their differences aside long enough to come up with the perfect song, though Sarah doesn't know this. She thinks the pile of sheet music on the table is a prenuptial agreement. Sarah feels bad when she finally realizes she simply interrupted a secret song session. So, another secret's been revealed. Don't worry. There are plenty more to come.

Nora asks Justin to help out with Operation: Who's Your Daddy. He reluctantly agrees. He also helps Kevin keep the whole Michelle situation a secret from the rest of the family. Speaking of Michelle, Kevin and Scotty are desperately trying to track her down. The private investigator says they have a boy. His name is Daniel. Unfortunately, three days have passed. The two people they seek could be anywhere.

Scotty gets a text message from Michelle. She wants to talk, but is afraid Scotty and Kevin will try to take Daniel away if she lets them near him. Scotty assures her that they'll work something out. Of course, he makes this deal secretly. So when Kevin answers a follow-up phone call from Michelle, he goes ballistic. CLICK! A frightened Michelle breaks off all contact. Now they may never find their baby.

With her mom acting bizarrely, Sarah wants to surprise Nora with a cruise. Luc isn't thrilled that his bride-to-be wants to head for the high seas two weeks before their wedding. Justin catches Sarah swiping Nora's passport for the impromptu vacation. Then Sarah pops by to find Nora keeping Brody's baseball cap on ice. Justin's head is spinning from all the secrets he's been keeping. Poor guy.

Justin can't deal with the deception any longer. He tells Nora all about Sarah's secret cruise plans. He also reveals that she has another grandchild somewhere out there with Michelle. Justin goes on to tell Kevin about the possibility that Brody may be Sarah's father. Whew! That's a lot of new info to process. Nora and Kevin need a drink. Too bad they're at Justin's place. The strongest thing he has on tap is white wine vinegar.

Nora and Kevin have a heart-to-heart. The one bright spot is the fact that Brody left because he loves Nora. Now she has to decide if she should tell Brody about the Sarah situation. The test results are in. He is, indeed, Sarah's father. This is news the eldest Walker daughter takes in stride. As far as she's concerned, Brody isn't part of her life. Of course, this doesn't resolve the feelings Nora still has for the guy.

The Michelle situation takes an unexpected turn when Justin shows up with baby Daniel. Michelle came to his house, left the baby and just took off. Kevin and Scotty are stunned. As for Olivia, she wants to know the scoop about this kid who has suddenly shown up on her turf. We have no idea how her dads are going to respond to this one.
