Ronnie James Dio's widow is urging the surviving members of his band Heaven & Hell to continue working together - under a different name. Dio lost his battle with stomach cancer in May, and his bandmates, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Vinny Appice, subsequently re-grouped for a tribute show in London in July.
The concert was billed as Heaven & Hell's final performance, but Wendy Dio hopes the rockers will continue to work together as long as they pick a different band name. She tells VH1 Radio, "I don't know what they're doing right now. I know that Geezer's been asked several times, and he's just... he took it (Dio's death) very hard. I don't really know what they're doing right now."
"They should do something else, with Vinny, too. I mean, the band was amazing, an amazing band and they should carry on to do something. It won't be called Heaven & Hell but whatever they call it, it will be great, it will be amazing."

I agree with Wendy. Tony, Geezer & Vinnie should continue with a comparable vocalist. I can't tell you all how upset I am over Ronnie's passing, and for not seeing Heaven & Hell when they performed in L.A. last year because of a very difficult work schedule and commute I had. I'll forever regret that I never got to see the line-up of one of the greatest rock albums in history, Heaven & Hell. I bought a new copy on CD & I keep listening to it and remembering the year 1980 when I first bought it and how much I loved it. This album just never gets old, it's as crisp and well produced as the day it was released. Those four are dynamite rock musicians and I agree with Wendy and believe Ronnie would have wanted them to continue.
