A 911 call made by Corey Haim's mother when she discovered her son collapsed has been outed online, revealing that the actor was not breathing when she found him.
The frantic 911 call made by Corey Haim's mother after he collapsed at her Los Angeles home has been leaked online. The "Lost Boys" star passed away in L.A. on March 10 after suffering a suspected overdose. He is believed to have collapsed at his mum Judy's house in the early hours of the morning and was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Now Judy's Haim's emotional call to emergency services has been released on the internet. The 10-minute call reveals the tragic moment when she realized her son was in a serious condition, and her frantic efforts to resuscitate him, according to Access Hollywood.
She told the call dispatcher, "I think my son is dead. He's not breathing. I don't know what is going on. He had a fever this morning. I'm alone with my son and I don't know what I'm doing. I'm doing this and I don't think it's helping at all ... he's not moving. He all of a sudden got out of bed and wanted to go to the bathroom and he fell on the floor and I put him on the bed and that was it. His eyes went backwards."
The news came as an arrest was made in the ongoing investigation into a prescription drug ring in San Diego, California linked to the former child star's death. Police officers allegedly discovered Haim, who had a long history of drug problems, had obtained an illegal order for painkiller OxyContin which had been written on a fake prescription pad, which the suspected drug ring is accused of selling.
The California Attorney General's Office confirmed to E! News that an arrest has been made in connection with the case, but no other details were available as WENN went to press.
