Tons of Celebrities, including Charlize Theron and Paul McCartney, join thousands of people at the rally to express their support for gun control.

AceShowbiz - Lots of celebrities joined March for Our Lives along with thousands of people to show their support for gun control on Saturday, March 24. Celebrities in attendance included Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, the beauty mogul Kim Kardashian and husband Kanye West, Ariana Grande, Charlize Theron and Lady GaGa who made their way to Washington D.C. The event began at 12:00 P.M., with an estimated 500,000 people.
On that day, the "Wrecking Ball" singer wore gray sweatshirt with the hashtag #MSDStrong across the front. She hit the stage to perform "The Climb". She also delivered a speech in front of thousands before her. "Thank you for being here. I love you so much. Never again," she said. "You guys are so incredible. I find myself lucky to be in presence of all of you wonderful people fighting for what is right. Love y'all so much. Thank you."
Upon arriving at Washington D.C., Kim tweeted, "So ready to March today! Landed in DC w North & Kanye. We stand in solidarity with the survivors of gun violence & students who are calling for action on common sense gun safety laws at #MarchForOurLives around the country @AMarch4OurLives @Everytown."

In addition to Kim, other celebrities took to their social media accounts to express their support for the movement. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson tweeted, "I'll always stand for open dialogue and action-it's the only way to ensure bad history doesn't repeat itself. When it comes to protecting our children, all bets are off and the responsibility lies with us adults and lawmakers to listen and do. Very strong day. #MarchForOurLives."

Paul, who was seen among the crowd, wore black T-shirt with a writing that read, "WE CAN END GUN VIOLENCE" across the front. Being asked of whether or not the gun control could happen, he told CNN, "I don't know. But this is what we can do, so I'm here to do it. One of my best friends was killed in gun violence right around here." His fellow The Beatles member John Lennon was killed in gun violence 37 years ago.
Previously, Justin Timberlake said that he was inspired by the students who owned their voices. He posted a video on his Instagram account to promote the event and ask his fans and others to join the march. He captioned it, "I'm so inspired by the #MarchForOurLives students owning their voices. We need to demand action. Get out there and join the march this Saturday-more info in my bio."
