On Friday, October 30, the star of "Hannah Montana" told Ryan Seacrest, "It was like the best job I'd ever been on. It was a total dream come true."

The tour that invaded North America in Fall 2007 and grossed over $54 million sees Cyrus performing 14 tracks either as herself or her Disney character, Hannah Montana.

Seven tracks from the CD/DVD package are those performed by Cyrus as herself while the rest features her Hannah Montana disguise. A track called "We Got the Party" that she did with her supporting act Jonas Brothers will also be included in the set.

Miley Cyrus has been tapped to be one of the performers at the 21st Annual Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards which is held the end of this month on March 29. Teen star Miley Cyrus and her singer dad Billy Ray Cyrus are set to be the host of 2008 Country Music Television Music Awards on April 14 at Curb Event Center at Belmont University. They will also make a performance at the event that appreciates the work of country music videos.

"Miley and I are so excited to be hosting the CMT Music Awards," Billy Ray said. "We know it will be a fun-filled night with a lot of great music performances." Disney's 'Hannah Montana' the Movie Set for Early 2009 Release

As the writers' strikes ended, Walt Disney Pictures announced that the big screen version of hit television series "Hannah Montana" is scheduled to hit theaters in early 2009. Variety reported that while announcing the studio's 2009 to 2010's calendar, it was revealed that the musical film starring Miley Cyrus is slated for May 1, 2009 release.

Scheduling "Montana" on the date means that the film about a teenage girl who lives a double life will be up against action fantasy film "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" starring Hugh Jackman and Liev Schreiber. The Disney Channel's "Hannah Montana" soundtrack, which features music from the show's star Miley Cyrus, remains firmly at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart for the second week in a row, selling 203,000 copies in the United States in the week ended Wednesday Nov 8th, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Veteran pop vocalist Barry Manilow's "The Greatest Songs of the Sixties" follows at 2nd spot with 202,000 copies. Though fails to score his second No. 1 of the year, the singer is still the only artist this year to have two albums in the top two chart positions with his previous effort "The Greatest Songs of the Fifties" took the top spot in February with 156,000 copies.

The U.S. Pop Charts Holdovers of Oct 29th

This is a new record on the Billboard Hot 200 after another. The US pop album charts sees the success of Miley Cyrus' "Hannah Montana" to climb at No. 1 this week. The album, which is the soundtrack to hit Disney Channel series of the same name, sold more than 280,000 copies in the week ended October 29, marking the biggest start for a soundtrack since November 2005, when rapper 50 Cent's "Get Rich or Die Tryin'" bowed with 317,000 units.

On top of that, "Hannah Montana" has also become Disney's fourth top 10 debut this year, behind "Cars," "The Cheetah Girls 2" and the immensely popular "High School Musical," which is the only album to sell more than 3 million copies so far in 2006. Elsewhere, New Jersey rock band My Chemical Romance is at 2nd position on the album charts with "The Black Parade" sold 240,000 copies. John Legend's sophomore album "Once Again" starts at No. 3 with 231,000.
