The Donald Trump impersonator of 'Saturday Night Live' takes it to Twitter to show his support for Griffin following her teary press conference.

AceShowbiz - After Jim Carrey and Jamie Foxx, another star has come to Kathy Griffin's defense. Alec Baldwin who has been impersonating Donald Trump on "Saturday Night Live" took it to Twitter to show support for the embattled comedienne following her teary press conference where she felt bullied by the President and his family.

"Dear Kathy Griffin," he began, "Kathy....baby...I've been there. The whole Henry Hyde thing w Conan, where we bring out an oxygen mask at the end? A joke. That's what I thought. That's what we intended. No one walked out of the studio and said, 'No! We're serious!' No one. But all your gutless, weasels in the GOP insisted that I actually threatened Hyde. They played the victim beautifully."

He went on, "Kathy...f**k them. F**k them all. No 1 believes u meant 2 threaten Trump. Trump is such a senile idiot, all he has is Twitter fights." He concluded, "Ignore him. Like the leaders of all the other countries in the world. Ignore him."

Meanwhile, Kathy Griffin reportedly feels betrayed by Anderson Cooper after she was fired from CNN's New Year's Eve coverage and the Silver Fox joined her critics. "For the record, I am appalled by the photo shoot Kathy Griffin took part in. It is clearly disgusting and completely inappropriate," Cooper tweeted about her gory Trump photo.

A source told Page Six, "Kathy totally misjudged this. She truly believed that Anderson would stick up for her. She considered him a friend. While she has nobody to blame but herself, she feels somehow betrayed." She did say during her press conference that she was "hurt" by the termination.
